Certain preset modes (ViewMode) are factory-calibrated for specific visual tasks and will lock parameters to maintain optimal performance. Switch to [Standard] mode to regain manual control.

Press the [Menu] button (located on the back or bottom of the monitor) to open the OSD menu.
Navigate to the [ViewMode] selection.
Select [Standard] from the list of preset options.
Return to the main menu; the [Contrast] and [Brightness] settings should now be unlocked and adjustable.

Tips: High-end models may also lock brightness when [HDR] or [sRGB] modes are enabled to ensure color accuracy according to industry standards.
Note: If the settings remain locked after switching to Standard mode, please verify if "Auto Brightness" or "Eco Mode" is currently active.
