Step 1: Confirm correct input source on the ViewBoard (IFP)

  • Press the [Input Source] button on the IFP remote or touch menu.

  • Select the matching input (e.g., HDMI1 / USB-C / VGA).

  • Wait 5–10 seconds for the screen to detect input.

Step 2: Check your cable and connection type

  • Try another HDMI, USB-C, or VGA cable.

  • If using USB-C, confirm the port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery.

  • Use original or certified cables, especially for USB-C.

Step 3: For Windows laptops – Project Settings

  • Press Windows Key + P and select Duplicate or Extend.

  • Ensure the external display is detected under Display Settings.

Step 4: Check device compatibility & drivers

  • For devices like drawing tablets or Android phones, ensure:

    • Display output via USB-C is supported.

    • Required drivers are installed.

    • External display permissions are granted (on Android).

Step 5: Still no signal?

  • Restart both the ViewBoard and external device.

  • Try another port or device for testing.

  • Contact ViewSonic Service Center with your model number and connection type.


 Note: Some devices such as pen diaplsy or touch monitor are display devices themselves. They cannot serve as a signal source to the ViewBoard via USB-C or HDMI. Please ensure the external device is a computer or media player that supports video output.
