Please follow below instructions to add apps.

The Android operating system is an open source platform that will allow you to install custom applications even when the Google Play store is not available. Follow the steps to begin installing custom applications.

  1. 1. Downloading the Application 

  1. a. Download the application (.apk) file from a trusted source. 


  1. b. The APK file can be downloaded directly to the board’s internal memory or you may import the file via USB drive from a different source device. 


  1. 2. Granting Permissions  

You will need to grant “Unknown Sources” permissions prior to installing custom applications. The Unknown Sources option will remain enabled for future instances. 


  1. a. While the IFP is powered on, use the remote control to tap INPUT 9 9 1 to access the debug menu. A blue DEBUG menu will appear from the left side. 


  1. b. Select Player Setting. 


  1. c. Set Unknown Sources to ON.  


  1. d. Press back to exit the debug menu. 


3. Installing the Application 

  1. a. Make sure the Android embedded player input is selected. 


  1. b. Open the Folders application located within your app drawer. 


  1. c. Navigate to the location of the APK file - Internal Storage or USB Drive.

  1. d. Double-tap the APK file to launch the installation. 




  1. e. Tap Next or scroll down when the installation window appears. 



  1. f. Tap Install. 




  1. g. When the installation has completed, press Done. 



  1. h. The application should now be installed and can be located in the app drawer.
