If students are unable to join your class in Guest Mode, here are the most common causes and what you can do to resolve them.

  • Create a new class with a higher capacity.

  • Share the new class link with the students.

  • Instruct all students to join the new class.

Class has not started yet.Students clicked the join link or entered the Class ID before the teacher started the session.
  • Start the class from the ClassSwift app by clicking Start Lesson.

  • Notify students when the session is live.

The student is redirected to the Learning Platform login page.The teacher created a Guest Mode class. A student previously joined a class using Google SSO and now needs to access the new session using Guest Mode.
  • The teacher has to start the lesson in the ClassSwift app.

  • Instruct students to rejoin the class using the QR code, link, or Class ID.
