When running "Whiteboard for Windows v2.68.4", you'll need to have admin privilege for software update. 

We highly recommend UNINSTALLING v2.68.4.0 and downloading v2.68.5.0.exe (executable file) or later version from myViewBoard.com/downloads. 

This updated version of the software resolves the admin privilege issue.
