Some pages might be blank when Whiteboard for Windows users import PDF files downloaded directly from Google Slides.
The root cause is unsupported fonts in the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) provided by the Windows system.
Currently, it is a limitation because our Whiteboard for Windows uses the PDF reader libraries listed below:
Windows.Data.Pdf.PdfDocument
Windows.Data.Pdf.PdfPage
ViewSonic ViewBoard users could use Whiteboard for Android and then import the PDF.
Alternatively, Windows users can avoid blank pages by converting the PDF with Microsoft PowerPoint:
Step 1: From Google Slides, download the file to the localhost as a .pptx instead of a .pdf file.
Step 2: Open the .pptx file in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Step 3: Save the .pptx as a .pdf file.
Step 4: Import the converted .pdf file via Magic Box in Whiteboard for Windows.
