For many myViewBoard users, the Whiteboard for Windows software automatically updates monthly so the user can always have the best user experience.

In the next release (v.2.61), there will be an update to Certificate Authenticator in Whiteboard for Windows which will require the user to grant administrator privileges for the update.

For Windows 10 users, when updating the software, the Windows pop-up will ask for administrator privilege.  After one-time administration permission is granted, the user will be able to update with one click.

Alternatively, for IT Admins who need to upgrade multiple devices and skip entering an admin password, using the Group Policy from Microsoft Server is recommended. To learn more, see the linkHow do I deploy MSI to mutiple Windows devices (Windows 10 and above)
