Magic Box is myViewBoard 2.0's hub of interactive tools for building engaging lessons — from file access and sticky notes to YouTube, image search, and student-engagement tools like Pop Quiz and Polls.

Opening Magic Box

Click the Magic Box icon on the main toolbar to open it. Available features vary slightly by platform (Windows, Android, or iOS).

What's inside

Magic Box includes the following tools:

  • File / Local Drive: Access files from local storage or a connected cloud drive (such as Google Drive or OneDrive).

  • Sticky Notes: Add colored notes to the canvas, with the option to draw or type on them.

  • Tools: Classroom tools such as a clock, timer, compass, calculator, 3D dice, and graph tool (exact set varies by platform).

  • Document Camera: Insert a connected camera feed directly onto the canvas.

  • Originals: Browse and insert ViewSonic Originals images and GIFs.

  • YouTube and Image Search: Browse and drag videos or images onto the canvas (requires signing in).

  • Throw, Pop Quiz, and Polls: Student-engagement tools that let participants send files, answer questions, or respond to polls from their own device. These require the host to have a Pro, Premium, or Entity account.

Additional Notes

Some Magic Box tools, such as YouTube, Image Search, and Online Widgets, require you to be signed in to your myViewBoard account to access them.
