myViewBoard 2.0 for Windows can be downloaded directly as an EXE or MSI installer; Android and iOS versions install from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store (or come preinstalled on ViewSonic ViewBoards). Updates are usually offered automatically through an in-app prompt.

Download and install

Choose the steps for your platform:

  • Windows: Download the myViewBoard 2.0 EXE or MSI file, open it, and follow the setup prompts (Next → Install → Finish). Administrative privileges are required.

  • Android: ViewBoards come with myViewBoard 2.0 preinstalled. On other Android devices, install it from the Google Play Store.

  • iOS/iPadOS: Install from the Apple App Store.

Updating

When a new version is available, you'll see a notification and an in-app update prompt. If you don't see it, open myViewBoard settings and use the "Update myViewBoard" button in the information tab.

Additional Notes

Some additional points that may be useful:

  • If the update process won't start on Windows, uninstall and reinstall the latest version from myviewboard.com.

  • On a ViewBoard, if updates won't start, try clearing the app's default launch setting and app data from the device's App info screen, then relaunch and try again.
