The easiest way to tell is by the app icon (on Windows, where both versions can be installed side by side) — or simply by checking which support article you're following, since features and menus differ between versions.

Telling the versions apart

Here's how to tell them apart:

  • Windows: myViewBoard 3.0 installs as a separate app and keeps the familiar logo with a white background and colorful border. myViewBoard 2.0's icon switches to a yellow cloud icon so the two are easy to tell apart.

  • Android/iOS: These platforms update the app directly, so you won't have both versions installed at the same time — whatever's installed is your current version.
