On Windows, the EXE installer (via Microsoft App Installer) updates automatically, refreshing to the latest release within about 8 hours of it going live. MSI and system-wide installs are instead updated on whatever schedule your IT deployment tool uses, since they're managed centrally rather than through an automatic consumer update.

Other platforms update automatically too

myViewBoard for Android auto-updates, except on Generation 3 panels and older, which aren't supported. myViewBoard for macOS and iPadOS also update automatically.
