This is due to DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection used by streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+. These apps block screen capturing by third-party applications, resulting in a black screen during casting.
Solutions:To watch copyrighted streaming content on your ViewBoard, please use one of the following methods:
Built-in Apps: Install the official app directly on the ViewBoard via the myViewBoard Manager or the App center.
Web Browser: Open the built-in Chromium browser on the ViewBoard and log in to the streaming website to play content directly.
Wired Connection: Connect your computer to the ViewBoard using an HDMI cable. Most platforms allow high-quality video output via a physical connection.
Media Streaming Devices: Use external devices like Chromecast, Fire TV Stick, or Apple TV plugged into the ViewBoard's HDMI port.
Notes:
Tip: Wireless casting apps like vCast must comply with mobile OS security policies and cannot bypass video encryption. This is not a hardware defect.
Note: Some YouTube videos may also fail to cast if the uploader has restricted playback on embedded or third-party players.
