Grouping students in ClassSwift allows teachers to customize the delivery of content according to specific learning objectives or varying comprehension levels among students. It also facilitates the distribution of rewards, such as points, to groups of students. This guide will walk you through the process of creating and managing student groups within ClassSwift.
1. Sign In to ClassSwift Hub
Enter your credentials and sign in to access the ClassSwift Hub.

2. Navigate to 'My Class' Tab
Once you are logged in:
- Select the 'My Class' tab: This tab is your main interface for class management.
- Access the student management features: Here, you can manage all aspects related to your students.
3. Manage Student Groups
To group your students:
- Go to the 'Student List': Find this option within the 'My Class' tab.
- Assign students into groups: You can create new groups or assign students to existing ones based on your teaching strategy or their comprehension levels.
*Please note that while there is no limit to the number of groups you can create, each group can have a maximum of 8 students.*
4. Use Groups in Teaching Activities
- Push-and-Respond Activities: When engaging in push-and-respond activities, you can select specific groups to receive tailored content that best suits their educational needs.
- Rewarding Groups: Points can be awarded to groups as a whole, encouraging a sense of teamwork and collaboration among students.
